GPA’s Construction and Real Estate lawyers have been actively involved with a variety of projects in the Kingdom.  These projects include power stations, telecommunications systems, roads, railways and other complex construction projects.  We also advise our clients on the benefits of involving our lawyers in the early stages of a project in order to minimise the risks and exposure to claims and disputes, thereby helping to complete the project within time and budgetary objectives.

Through our association with Herbert Smith, GPA also has access to a wider wealth of respected construction knowledge and international experience.  Herbert Smith also has dedicated practitioners with decades of experience advising on large-scale complex infrastructure transactions worldwide.   Additionally, their lawyers have the flexibility and expertise to advise developers, construction contractors, government agencies, financiers, investors and corporate occupiers.  HS non-contentious construction practice is able to advise on the full suite of project documentation – from consultant appointments to engineering and procurement contracts and long-term service agreements

GPA’s contentious construction team guides clients through all forms of dispute resolution, including international arbitration.  Together with Herbert Smith we have a reputation for consistently being at the forefront of legal development in the Middle East, whether acting on landmark projects, developing new services or helping shape new laws in the region.
